Characteristics:
Biofilm remover, basic cleaner, concentrate for all water reservoirs, swimming and bathing pools
A specially developed biofilm remover that reliably dissolves and removes acid-resistant algae and bacterial slime. The active ingredients specifically infiltrate the biofilm, effectively dissolving the harmful biofilm. Only in this state can subsequent basic cleaning or disinfection measures be successful.
In addition to mineral deposits, which experience has shown to be reliably removed by acidic cleaners, algal or bacterial slime also occasionally occurs in drinking water systems, swimming pools, and bathing pools. Such slime consists of complex polymeric substances, which may contain polysaccharides and peptides, among other substances. These slime deposits must first be removed with muEX forte to ensure successful, in-depth cleaning or disinfection.
- highly effective
- reliably dissolves and removes algae and biofilms
- strengthens and secures the subsequent disinfection measure
Application:
A. Drinking water tank / surface cleaning:
Apply muEX forte liberally to wet surfaces using a low-pressure sprayer. If necessary, follow up with the UNIWISCHER (universal wiper). After 20-30 minutes of contact time, rinse with a full jet of water. Before the actual cleaning or disinfection process, flush the rinse water into the tank sump.
B. Pipe network cleaning:
Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Legionella spec. They primarily use slimy biomass, the biofilm, as a habitat for reproduction or residence. This includes the slime films on system components that come into contact with water and the sediments that serve as protection for pathogenic Legionella and facultatively pathogenic Pseudomonas against conventional disinfectants. These slime films and sediments must be removed from the infected system. Disinfection is only effective in the next step. muEX forte is introduced into the piping system using a suitable dosing device (e.g., PipeDes 60) at a biofilm-dependent concentration of 2-5% and is then channeled through the entire building distribution network (cold and hot water). In the next step, this solution remains in the piping system for at least 1.5 hours (standing time). After rinsing the detached biomass with drinking water, either a further cleaning step or a direct disinfection step with a 2% concentration (e.g. HYDRO-DES) and a standing time of at least one hour can be carried out.
